Parents' Evening Manager Getting Started Guide

Welcome to Parents' Evening Manager, designed to manage parents' evening details, send invitations, and host video appointments.

Let us help you get started with Parents' Evening Manager by creating your first event:

To share details about parents' evenings and invite parents and carers to book appointments, create an event.

  1. Go to Parents Evening Manager, then select Events Manager.
  2. Select Create Event.

    Sections must be completed in order. You must select Save before moving onto the next section. If you go back and make changes in a previously saved section, you must enter the details again in the sections that follow it.

  3. Enter the event name and description.
  4. Set the event dates, appointment slots and times, and schedule breaks.
  5. Choose appointment types for each slot.
  6. Select the required year or registration groups, classes, or students.
  7. Manage each staff member's availability for appointment slots.
  8. Send invites and schedule appointment booking reminders.
  9. To complete set up of the event and launch it, in Event Confirmation, select Save.
  10. Video appointment events only — To provide staff members access to their appointments, send Staff Logins.
