Update — 27th January 2022
IRIS ParentMail update available from 27th January 2022. This release includes the following new features and fixes for known issues:
New Features
Parents' Evenings now with Video Appointments
The Parents' Evening Manager has been updated to include the ability to have video appointments.
Important information:
- Video appointments must be activated to display as an option when creating parents' evenings
- Teachers must have an IRIS ParentMail account to join video appointments and be granted permission to view and join video appointments
- Existing parents' evenings that have been created in IRIS ParentMail but have not yet started can be edited to include video appointments
Video appointments are charged at £0.007 a minute for each person attending an appointment.
Support for NSPCC Number Day
IRIS ParentMail are working to support the NSPCC Number Day in 2022.
Organisations taking part in Number Day can use IRIS ParentMail to collect and pay donations. Go to Settings > Partners > NSPCC to activate the NSPCC partner account in IRIS ParentMail, then create the relevant payment item.
Donations to the NSPCC Number Day made through IRIS ParentMail are not charged any transactions fees.
