Change lab

  • Email summary: New weekly Change Lab email summarising the weeks activity, including the latest ideas, comments, and votes. This will be sent every Monday, from the 12th February.

Enhancements

  • Absence details > Date display: Date format updated to use whole words for days and months, instead of abbreviations, and show the whole date.

  • Logo guidelines: Updated tip wording in Admin > Branding Settings > Login Page and Browser tab > Compact logo to make it clearer and remove old social media brands.

Fixes

  • Dashboard charts > All Employees I Can Access: When an authorisation route was set up to allow certain users to approve employee requests which they normally wouldn't be able to see, the dashboard charts were incorrectly including those employees in All Employees I Can Access. This has now been resolved.

  • CPD Record fields: In CPD Record, Duration Hours and CPD Hours now displays hours and minutes instead of just minutes.

  • Request email links: The links in the request emails now take the user to the request.

  • Reassigned requests: To prevent older requests from being reassigned, only requests made in the 30 days prior to the job running will be reassigned to the new line manager.

  • Planner > AM/PM: AM and PM indicators added back in for half day absences.

  • 404 error: Certain pages were displaying a 404 error. This has now been resolved.

  • Absence durations > Blocked days: Days with date blocking rules were not showing as working days. This has now been resolved.

  • Known as: The top right menu (vertical ellipsis) now uses Firstname when there is no Known As available.

  • Password Policy > Cancel button: Cancel is now only visible when Password Policy is in edit mode.

Payroll

Enhancements

  • Grand total: Grand total added to Salary Removal in the Integrated Sick Pay Report.

Legislation

  • Removed gender-specific validation message in Employee > Input > Input Statutory Maternity Pay.

  • Action and Pay Record Left Date and Generate Final Payslip added to Payroll Global Employee Updates.

  • National Minimum Wage updated with 2021 and 2022 banding history.

  • National Minimum Wage updated to reflect 1st April legislation changes.

  • Updated in Payroll > Legislation to reflect 6th April legislation changes:

Fixes

  • Dark mode > Right to Restriction: Right to Restriction was not displaying correctly in Details and Input, when in dark mode.

  • National Minimum Wage report: Incorrect hourly rate on National Minimum Wage report when a salary sacrifice is present.

  • AE Over Lower Earning Threshold: AE Over LEL has been updated to use the full name, AE Over Lower Earning Threshold.

  • Financial Control timeout: A timeout was occurring for some users in Expenses > Financial Control.

  • Pensions Picker scroll: Scrollbar not appearing in Pensions Picker.

  • Automatic Data Synchronisation: Automatic Data Synchronisation error when ApprenticeshipEndDate is NULL in HR and has a value in Payroll.

  • NI calculation for directors: NI not being calculated correctly for directors who were added mid tax year but effective from the start of the tax year.

Scalability and infrastructure

  • Payroll > PENSIONS: Improvements to the way data is loaded in Details > PENSIONS to be more efficient and reduce loading times.

  • Admin > Roles: When saving changes to a role, only permissions that have been edited are now refreshed, enabling the changes to be saved quicker.

  • Publish Vacancy button: Improvements to the alignment of Publish Vacancy button in Recruitment.

  • Group Timesheets icons: Improvements to the unauthorised icon and icons in the tooltip.

  • Dark mode > password tool tips: Improvements to the password tool tips when editing a user account in dark mode.
