Add new entitlement profile
A video demonstrating how to add a new entitlement profile.
  1. Go to Admin.

  2. In System Administration, select Application Data.

  3. Select Attendance and Calendars > Entitlement Profiles.

  4. Select Add Entitlement Profile.

  5. On the Entitlement Profile page, enter an Entitlement Profile Name (maximum 50 characters, including spaces).

    We recommend including the number of entitlement days in the name for clarity.

  6. Select the required Entitlement Profile Category.

    Only Attendance Categories with the Requires Entitlement property selected will be available here. You can edit these properties in Attendance and Calendars > Attendance Categories. Learn how to assign properties to an attendance category.

  7. Enter Base Entitlement if Calculated in Days.

  8. Base Entitlement if Calculated in Hours & Minutes (HHH:MM): is automatically calculated using your company's standard working hours. If the value is not correct, it can be changed.

  9. Select a Carry Over Rule.

  10. If you selected Carry Max Of::

    1. Enter a value for Carry Over if Calculated in Days.

    2. Enter a value for Carry Over if Calculated in Hours & Minutes.

  11. For Carry Must Be Used Within*, select No Time Limit, or a number of Month(s) or Week(s).

    Carry Must Be Used Within* is not displayed if you selected Carry None.

  1. For When Attempting to Book More Than Entitled to:, select what happens if a user attempts to add a record that exceeds the employee's entitlement:

    • Allow Booking - Allows records to be entered, taking the employee over their entitlement. No warning is displayed.

    • Display Warning - Allows records to be entered. Displays a warning stating that the employee will be over their entitlement.

    • Prevent Booking - Prevents records over the employee's entitlement from being entered.

  2. To apply the When Attempting to Book More Than Entitled to: setting to requests that require authorisation, select Include Requests?

    If Include Requests? is not selected, these settings will only apply to users adding records directly.

  3. Select Save.
