The following updates were made to IRIS Reach during June 2023:
New Features
Messages for Timetabled Classes
If your organisation A school, multi-academy trust (MAT), single academy trust (SAT), club, nursery or organisation that uses the software.s uses timetables in your Management Information System (MIS), you can now use theTimetabled Classes group to send messages.
When sending a Parent Reach message, to select the classes you want to send the message to, from Dynamic Groups select Timetabled Classes.
Fixes and Updates
- Security updates for Parents' Evening Manager
- Year groups previously added to the block list for Attendance Reporting can now been removed again
IRIS PlusPay
- Improved handling for received PayPal errors
- Multiple partial refunds for the same payment are now settled correctly
- Improved handling when parents and carers successfully make a payment but refresh the payment processing page instead of waiting for it to automatically clear
- Payment history now displays correctly when viewing orders for partially paid items
Parents and Carers using the MyEd App
- IRIS PlusPay payments made using PayPal now display correctly on student accounts
- Message now displayed if parents and carers have not been invited to any events
Removed Features
- Due to security features being introduced by EE, the ability to customise the SMS Originator has been removed
