Deal with Missing Priority Contact Details

IRIS Reach needs a person A parent, legal guardian, carer, or someone responsible for a student. to be assigned as priority 1 or parental responsibility in your Management Information System (MIS) to send messages therefore it is essential that applicable contact details are regularly reviewed and updated.

You are not able to send messages relating to a student who does not have a priority 1 or parental responsibility contact.

If your Management Information System (MIS) is Integris, you need to review the following information about IRIS Reach:

  • A person is only imported if selected as Emergency Ranking 1.
  • Multiple emergency ranking 1 contacts can be imported therefore, if more than one contact for the student are all emergency ranking 1, they are imported.
  • A person with Emergency ranking 2 and above are not imported.
  • Imports the telephone number from Home Tel 1, mobile numbers from Mobile, and email addresses from Email from each person's record.
  1. Select Data Management > No Priority 1 Contacts.
  2. The Data Management - No Priority 1 Contacts page with the Student Name and Reg groups displayed.

The list is used to review the data in your MIS and take any steps to rectify the missing contact information. Contact details need to be updated in your MIS, and the updated details are then synchronised and imported into IRIS Reach overnight. A variety of options are available for reviewing the data in IRIS Reach. For more information, go to Managing Data Panels.
