IRIS Absence Call Manual Responses

You want to add a response to an absence alert A MyEd app message, text message, email, or automated phone call. that the parent or carer reported using another method, or to add a reason an absence alert was not responded to.

  1. For the required student, go to their Student Report.
  2. In the Unanswered Absence Breakdown Report section, find the Date and Day(Session) of the absence.
  3. Enter the reason in the blank field, then select Save.

IRIS Absence Call Module for IRIS Reach used to manage sending alerts for absent students. automatically enters responses when they are received from parents and carers or entered manually for all dates after the first day of absence, so if an absence has the same response for a longer period you do not need repeat manually adding responses daily.
