Attendance Register Synchronise with Management Information System Options

This feature is only available for organisations that use IRIS Data Extractor to connect their SIMS to IRIS ParentMail.

To set which members of the register are charged for school meals, the synchronisation options for each required register must be set.

New Attendance Registers

When creating an Attendance register, complete the following in the Synchronise with Management Information System (MIS) Options section: 

1. To start automatically taking the register using attendance report marks, select Synchronise with SIMS Attendance Report.

2. Choose whether meal patterns are used when synchronising attendance reports.

   If Only take the register for members with School Meal set as the meal type in your MIS is not selected, price band values are automatically charged for all members with an attendance mark.

3. Select Save.

Existing Attendance Registers

1. Find and select the required Attendance register.
2. Select Actions, then Edit Register.

3. To start automatically taking the register using attendance report marks, select Synchronise with SIMS Attendance Report.

4. Choose whether meal patterns are used when synchronising attendance reports.

   If Only take the register for members with School Meal set as the meal type in your MIS is not selected, price band values are automatically charged for all members with an attendance mark.

5. Select Save.
