Record leave/TOIL adjustments

There may be occasions when staff leave entitlements need to be adjusted mid year, perhaps due to a promotion or change of role. This process can also be used for any other type of leave/TOIL adjustments, such as overtime, study leave, etc.

  1. Search for, and select the required staff member.
  2. Select Staff > Task Pad from the menu.
  3. From the task pad, click Leave and TOIL Adjustments.

  4. From the Staff TOIL Transactions page, click New TOIL Entry.

  5. From the New TOIL Entry window, select the Category, such as Leave, Time off in Lieu, etc. If required, additional categories can be added to this list.
  6. Select the Type of entry, e.g. Balance.
  7. Enter the total Hours for this entry. It is important to note that if you are adding to any existing balance, the figure must be negative. If decreasing the balance, the figure must be negative.
  8. Add a Narrative to detail the purpose of the entry.
  9. Click Save. The entry is added to the Staff TOIL Transactions page.
