Create charts from queries

To create a chart from your query results, select the + icon in the header row for the appropriate column:

Enhanced dashboard

When using the enhanced dashboard, its possible to use a query to create a dashboard chart.

When you run a query, you will see a plus icon at the top of each column on the results screen. The following graph types are available:

• Bar (this is the default)

• Column

• Line

• Pie

• Table

• Counter

You can only create graphs for one column at a time. To create a graph, click the plus icon at the top of the appropriate column, and then select the options you want to include. To change the graph type, click the appropriate tab . If required, you can save charts and pin them to your dashboard.

Standard dashboard

When using the standard dashboard, clicking on plus icon displays a pop up window where the data in the selected column can be seen in four different chart types.

• Bar (default)

• Pie

• Doughnut

• Table

The charts in this pop up can only be printed or a screen shot taken.
