View Virtual Contact Numbers

IRIS Reach creates virtual contact numbers that are unique to your organisation A school, multi-academy trust (MAT), single academy trust (SAT), club, nursery or organisation that uses the software.. These are used to ensure that messages are delivered to the correct inbox.

The numbers used by your system are 07 UK registered mobile numbers. There are a small number of mobile packages, with some providers that treat these numbers (07624 Isle of Man, UK) as non-UK numbers and may charge person A parent, legal guardian, carer, or someone responsible for a student.s a small amount, as the provider does not include the Isle of Man as part of the UK.

  1. Go to Help > Contact Numbers.

  2. Unique numbers assigned to your organisation for the specific messaging methods and types for IRIS Reach are displayed. The following numbers are provided:

    • Absence Alert A MyEd app message, text message, email, or automated phone call. Text Number — the number used to send absence messages to a person responsible for a student, which is the number they send a reply to.
    • Absence Hotline Number — used by a person responsible for a student to contact your organisation to report an absence.
    • Group Messaging Text Number — the number used by IRIS Reach to send group text messages to a person responsible for a student. If you select the option to allow recipients to reply when sending the message, responses are sent to the Group Messaging Text Number.
    • Community Reach Number — the number used for replies to Community Reach messages.
    • Text For Help Number — students can contact your organisation using text messages if they need help, for example, if they are being bullied.
