Take Attendance Registers

Registers can only be taken by one staff member at a time, for register members that do not have selections already in their basket.

If taking a register where attendance has already been confirmed through an IRIS ParentMail account, the choices are already displayed as selected — you must only take attendance for those not confirmed. If you need to, you can change the confirmation, or cancel it.

If a student or staff member is not present when taking the register on any day where attendance has already been confirmed, you must cancel the confirmation.

  1. For the required register, select Actions, then View/Take register.
  2. The current week is displayed. To take attendance for a different week, enter the date.

    Registers can only be taken for up to one week at a time.

  3. To confirm attendance for each Name on the register, for the date, select the price.

  4. To save, select Take Register.

If another staff member is currently taking the same register, or choices are in the basket for the account, any choices for attendance are not saved and errors are displayed. You must resolve the errors before continuing.
