Configure Courses

Use the Configuration tab in the Curriculum Manager module to manage the course structure for your school.

All curriculum courses must be linked to a course schedule. Each schedule must have a specified length.

For example, 'Grade 10 Biology' is linked to the course schedule of 'Year Long Course'. The 'Year Long Course' schedule has a specified course length of 'Year Long (UK Terms)'.

Create your course structure by working through the following procedures:

1. Create course lengths. Link each one to a cycle, programme, curriculums and term types.
2. Create course schedules. Link each one to a course length and term dates.
3. Course request. Manage course requests from students, parents and teachers.
4. Course options. Manage the categories and status of course request options.
