Maintain ownership codes

Ownership codes are used to classify the type or entity of a client. They appear in the Entity drop-down list on the Client Details page.

  1. Select Admin > Categories from the menu.

  2. Select Special Categories from the list, then select Ownership Codes.

  3. Click Add (or View/Edit to edit an existing category).

  4. Add a Code, then enter a Description which will appear in the Entity drop-down list.

  5. You can select and link to Ownership categories from the Category list. This can be done to group ownership types together for reporting purposes.

  6. Select the applicable Valid For checkboxes to indicate what entities the ownership type can be used against.

  7. Click Save.
