Introduction

These release notes provide information on new features, enhancements and fixes developed since the last release, listed by change reason:

Enhancements

• You can now send a Faster Payment for immediate processing without entering a payment date.

• Updated the Veteran Date field in Employee Details to allow you to enter a date later than the employee's start date.

• Added a Smart Pensions -PAPDIS file option on the Select File to Create, Create/Edit Pension Fund Details and Automatic Enrolment Configuration Tool screens.

• Added a Employee Verification GDPR option under the Employee menu. See Employer verification connector - employee control for more information.

PAYE Legislation

Car and Fuel Benefit

• Car Fuel Benefit thresholds for the 2023/2024 tax year. We have updated the system with these thresholds.

Tax Codes

• Personal allowance tax code rates for the 2023/2024 tax year. We have updated the system with these rates.

National Minimum Wage / National Living Wage

• National Minimum Wage and National Living Wage rates for the 2023/2024 tax year. We have updated the system with these rates.

Student/Postgraduate Loan

• Refer to the IRIS Payroll Help Hub for the updated student and postgraduate loan thresholds for the 2023/2024 tax year. We have updated the system with these thresholds.

RTI

FPS - 2023/2024

In line with government legislation, we have updated the FPS schema for the 2023/2024 tax year.

EPS - 2023/2024

We have amended the EPS schema for submissions relating to the 2023/2024 tax year.

Pensions

• The LGPS Bands for England/Wales and Scotland are now up to date for the 2023/2024 tax year.

• Teachers’ Pension tiers are now up to date for the 2023/2024 tax year.

Other Improvements

P60s

A new P60 layout for year-end 2022/2023 is now available.

Bug Fixes

Module/system area	Bug/fix Description
Faster Payments	Fixed an issue regarding the system returning an error when an employee had an apostrophe in their name.
my ePay Window	Fixed an issue with figures not populating correctly in MEPW. Resolved an issue when publishing an employee's P60 to MEPW from payroll, and the system sent P60s for all employees.
Linking IRIS Payroll Help Hub to Staffology HR or IRIS HR Professional	We have resolved an issue found when linking IRIS Payroll Help Hub with a HR system, and payslips did not display in my ePay Window.
Employee record	Fixed the Contribution Ceased Date option in the Auto Enrol tab.
