Training planning

You can use the Planning section to plan courses based on training enquiries and plan items.

  1. Go to Training then select Ad-Hoc Enquiries from the Schedules section.

  2. A list of courses is shown in order of the number of potential delegates. Select a Course Title or select Schedule from the Actions column to schedule a course.

  3. A list of potential delegates is shown, prioritised by their score in the Best Match column. The star rating is as follows:

    Specific Enquiry and Open Plan Item

    The employee has this course as an open training plan item and has made a training enquiry for a scheduled date

    4 stars

    General Enquiry and Open Plan Item

    The employee has this course as an open training plan item and has made a training enquiry

    3 stars

    Open Plan Item

    The employee has this course as an open training plan item

    2 stars

    Specific Enquiry

    The employee has made an enquiry about this course and selected a schedule (date)

    General Enquiry

    The employee has made an enquiry about this course

  4. In the Start Date, enter select the date you want to schedule the course, then click Search. The system checks the potential delegates for date for clashes such as holidays. A green tick is shown if there are no clashes.

  5. Select each delegate to add to the course, then select Add New Course Schedule.

  6. Select the training Provider and Location from the lists and enter the Max Delegates for the course.

  7. Select Publish Course if you want the course to appear in course listings so that employees can view information and register enquiries.

  8. Finally, choose whether to Invite Delegates or Confirm Delegates before selecting Create Schedule.
