Complete the course description

The Description tab includes information about the course that employees will see in Course Listings.

  1. Go to Training, then select Courses from the Maintenance section. A list of existing training courses is shown.

  2. Select the Description tab.

  3. Complete the information as shown in the following table:

    How to complete

    Course Overview

    Type the description of the course that employees will see on the Course Listings screen (maximum 1000 characters)

    Course Topics

    Type the topics that the course will cover (maximum 1000 characters)

    Who Should Attend

    Type the type(s) of employee who should attend the course (for example, grade 1 and working towards grade 2 or Managerial)

    Prerequisites

    Type the skills or qualifications that employees need to have before they attend the course

    Course Materials

    Type the materials that employees need to bring to the course

    Additional Notes

    Type any extra information about the course that does not fall into any of the other sections

  4. Click Save.
