Add new training course schedules
To add new training course schedules, you need to:

add information on the Training Schedule Details screen

check the information that the system automatically adds to the other tabs, and change it if necessary.

Go to Training then select Schedule from the Schedules section.

At the end of the schedules list, select Add New Course Schedule.

Complete the Schedule Details tab, using the table below as a guide. Fields marked with a red asterisk * are mandatory.

Schedule Ref
The system automatically generates a unique reference, which cannot be re-used.
Course*
From the drop-down menu, select the course you want to schedule. The options available for selection are all courses marked as In Use.
Provider*
When you select a course in the Course field, the system automatically adds any attached provider to the drop-down menu in this field. If no providers are recorded for the course, you will see a warning message, and you will need to add at least one provider to the course details.
Location
From the drop-down menu, select the course location. The options available for selection depend on the selected provider. This field is not mandatory, but if you leave it blank, then any workflow emails that use this field will also be blank.
Trainer
From the drop-down menu, select the name of the trainer who will deliver the course. The options available for selection depend on the selected provider. This field is not mandatory, but if you leave it blank, then any workflow emails that use this field will also be blank.
Course Start Date*
Type or select the start date of the course. The date can be past or future.
Course End Date*
The system automatically adds the end date of the course in this field, based on the duration in the course details, but you can amend this if required
Daily Start Time
Type or select the course start time in hours and minutes. If required, you can change this time on the Schedule Dates tab
Daily End Time
Type or select the course end time in hours and minutes. If required, you can change this time on the Schedule Dates tab
Minimum Delegates
Type the minimum number of delegates for the course. If this number has not been reached seven days before the start date, you will see a warning message in the Training Alerts section of the Training dashboard
Maximum Delegates*
Type the maximum number of delegates for the course. When this number is reached, you cannot confirm any new delegates, but the system adds employees to a reserve list
Maximum Delegates On Reserve List
Type the maximum number of delegates that can be added to the reserve list.
If a confirmed delegate cancels, you can move a delegate manually to Confirmed
Budget
From the drop-down menu, select the budget that the course is allocated to
Period
From the drop-down menu, select the period that the course is allocated to (useful for allocating costs to historical schedules)
Publish Course
If you want the course to appear in Course Listings so that employees can view information and register enquiries, tick the box
CPD Duration (Hours)
The system automatically adds the appropriate number of hours to this field, if included in the course details
CPD Earned (Hours)
The system automatically adds the appropriate number of hours/points to this field, if included in the course details
Workflow Processes
The system automatically adds any workflow processes included in the course details to this field. If you have the appropriate rights, you can click the link to access the Workflow module
Narrative
If required, type additional information about the course
Timezone
From the drop-down menu, select the timezone of the course location

Click Save to save the schedule details. You cannot access the other tabs until you have saved this information.
