Request Sharing

You can use Request Sharing to allow other users to authorise your requests. This useful when managers are absent or on holiday.

Requests that are routed to authorisation groups are not shared. Requests are only shared one level, for example if John allows Sue to see his requests and Sue allows Jim to see her requests, Jim does NOT see John's requests.

When request sharing is set up:

• IRIS Cascadecreates single requests that are visible to more than one person. Both the original request authoriser and the share request authoriser can see each shared request in their My Requests (For Approval) section.

• The first person to deal with a shared request removes it from the other person’s My Requests (For Approval) section.

To configure Request sharing, select Request Sharing :
