Publishing and Security
When documents are uploaded, by default they are published to the IRIS Cascade audience (i.e. they appear on the Directory page). However, if required, a finer degree of control of document publishing is available.
Documents can be assigned publish and expiry dates. Setting a publish date on a document means that it can only be downloaded after that date. Similarly, setting an expiry date means that a document can only be viewed before that date. Such dates may be set for documents with content no longer valid after a certain point in time, for example, a temporary office layout diagram.
Role-based security can also be applied to documents at an individual level.
