Using Data Change Audit

The Data Change Audit screen allows query builder and it's features to be used to retrieve the same information that can be found using the Show Data Change Audit menu option.

Option Detail
Full Name

Displays both the Known As and Surname fields into one field.

Requested Date

This is the date the data was requested to be changed if the screen is set to By Request. If the screen is set to Directly, this date with be the same as the Authorised Date.

Type

Defines the type of update to the screen.

  • Update - A change to a current record.

  • Insert - The adding of a new record.

  • Delete - The deletion of a record.

Screen

Displays the original screen name, e.g Job and Salary is known as Job History. Also shows screens from IRIS Cascade recruitment module and also Surveys.

Field

Displays the name of the field directly from the database. Any fields with ud at the end are custom fields.

Old Value

Displays the old value before any changes. For a new record this field will be blank.

New Value

Displays the new value at the point of the record being saved.

Authoriser

Displays the profile or role name being used by the person who authorised the request.

Authorised Date

Displays the date the request was accepted. If the data was entered Directly, this date will be the same as the Requested Date.

Authorised By

Displays the employee id and full name of the person who accepted the request.

Requestor Comments

Displays any comments added by the person who requested the data change.

Authoriser Comments

Displays any comments added by the person who accepted the data change.
