Using the Screen Designer

This section provides information about the Configure This Screen feature in IRIS Cascade, which enables you to change the design of existing screens and create new screens.

About Configure This Screen

It is advisable to restrict access to this facility to system administrators who have:

• Had training on using this facility

• The appropriate rights as part of their role

You shouldn't give access to other users because changes made are applied across your whole organisation, to all users, and could potentially damage your database.

You should plan changes carefully, and don't remove standard IRIS Cascade fields from any screen without first consulting the IRIS Cascade service desk.
