Apply Entitlement Bank Holiday pro rata Rules From

The date on which to begin applying entitlement pro rata rules (blank = do not apply).

Apply Entitlement Part-Time pro rata Rules From

The date on which to begin applying entitlement pro rata rules (blank = do not apply).

Automatically Disable Leaver Access

Automatically disable access to the system when users become leavers.

Competency Level Restriction

Enable or disable the level restriction on the Post Details screen in Admin.

Default Greeting Colour

The default colour of the greeting in the header image (overridden by specific theme settings).

Default Planner Months

The number of months (1 to 12) to show in the planner when it first loads for employees.

Default Planner View

The start month and end month of the planner for employees.

Default Theme

The default theme to use when creating new user accounts.

Display Bradford Factor

Whether or not the Absence screen shows Bradford Factor information for employees in the summary area.

Enable Copy Add on Custom Screens

Add a Copy Add option to any list screen where the profile access is set to Directly.

Enable Grades in FTE calculation

Allows the Grade to be included when calculating an employee's FTE (Full-Time Equivalent).

Note: Unticking this will allow the Grade field to be removed from the Job & Salary screen.

Enable Hay Scoring

When enabled this will display a new option against all posts where Hay Score data can be added.

Enable Last Login Message

Displays the last date and time a user logged into the system on the following dashboards: HR, Training, Recruitment & Payroll.

Enable My Default Query

Allows an individual to set the default query (they must be the owner) that displays when clicking on 'New Query'.

Generic Request Email Address

The override value for the from addressee for Request and Request Authorised emails.

Group Posts By Default

Whether to group by job title on the Posts Maintenance screen.

Hide Absence on Planner

Remove absences from the planner unless the user has access to employees’ Absence screen. This also includes Flexi Leave, Study/Exam leave, Maternity/Paternity/Adoption leave, and Lieu Time.

Hide Excel Export

Hide the Excel Export button on data screens (for example, Holiday, Main).

Hide Future Starters on Org Chart

Hide future starters on the Organisation Chart.

Hide Print Holiday Card button

Remove the Print Holiday Card option from the Holiday screen.

Hide Status on Org Explorer

Hide the status of employees on the Organisation Explorer.

Holiday Buy or Sell

Enable the Buy/Sell text description in the holiday summary pop-up box.

Holiday Buy or Sell Description

Change the label on the Entitlement Year screen and in the Holiday Summary pop-up box. To do this, you must also enable the Holiday Buy or Sell property.

Maximum Text Length For Lists

The maximum length of text fields on employee list screens after which truncation will occur. Leave blank for no truncation.

Microsoft Office Default Version

The default Microsoft Office version to use for reporting, exports, etc. You must set this to the oldest version that anyone accessing IRIS Cascade could be using.

Minimum Day Unit

The minimum unit used to measure days (for example, for holiday entitlement).

Normal Working Day

The number of hours in the working day. This is a general setting. The working calendar will override this if set against an employee.

Org Explorer Timeout

The amount of time to wait before rebuilding the data displayed in the Organisation Explorer.

Popup Lightbox Colour

The colour of the 'faded' background when popups are shown. If set to Grey, this helps users to see that there’s a popup box on screen.

Remove My Team from the Planner

Remove the My Team option from the planner.

Report Server Name

The name or IP address of the machine on which SQL Reporting Services is installed, if used.

Session Timeout

The number of minutes after which a session will time out if no activity has taken place.

For installed customers, IIS settings override this setting; if you need to extend beyond this, contact the IRIS Cascade Service Desk.

Cloud customers cannot extend beyond this setting.

Show Employee Status In Picker

Whether the status is displayed in the picker. However, irrespective of this setting, if the Include Leavers box is ticked, the left date is still displayed for employees whose leaving date is in the past.

Show leavers in auto suggest

Show leavers in the left-hand menu auto suggest (applies to all users).

Tasklist popup on login

Override the user preference to display a tasklist pop up when a user has logged in.
