Email properties

Go to Admin.
You can access Admin from the top hand menu.
- From the Application Data page, select System Properties.
- From System Properties, click the Email link.
These settings apply to emails sent from IRIS Cascade.

E-mail Server Name |
The name or IP address of the server through which system emails will be sent. You should only change this setting if you are going to use a new/different server. |

E-mail Server Port |
The port to use when sending email instructions to the configured email server. |
|
Override “From” Addresses |
Send all system emails as the authenticated user specified in the SMTP connection details. |
|
SMTP Display Name |
The name to display as the sender when sending emails as the authenticated user. |
|
SMTP Password |
The password to use when sending emails. |
|
SMTP Timeout |
The amount of time, in milliseconds, to try to send emails before timing out. |
|
SMTP Username |
The username to use when sending emails. |
|
Use Default Credentials |
The SMTP client should use the default credentials to connect. |
|
Use SSL |
Whether or not the configured email server requires a secure connection. |
|
Workflow E-mails Send after time (Hrs 0-24) |
Limits the time emails can be sent after on the given day. |

Workflow E-mails Send until time (Hrs 0-24) |
Limits the time emails can be sent until on the given day. |
