Transition to updated user interface

Over the past year, we’ve been enhancing the design of IRIS Cascade to make it more user friendly and visually appealing.

The new Cascade UI was released in October 2023, and many customers have already transitioned over.

From 6th June 2024, we will no longer support the previous user interface (UI).

You will need to transition to the new Cascade UI to ensure uninterrupted access to all features and support.

How to transition to the new Cascade UI

Cloud customers

All of your users will be automatically transitioned to the new Cascade UI by 6th June.

Installed customers

All of your users will be transitioned to the new Cascade UI during your next software update.

Manual transition

If you prefer to transition to the new Cascade UI immediately, you can do this manually:

  1. Go to Admin > Application Data.

  2. Select System Properties.

  3. In General, select Enable new Cascade UI.

  4. In Value:

    • Cloud customers: Select For all users.

    • Installed customers: Select For selected users.

  5. Select, Save.

    If you are an installed customer, you need to enable the new Cascade UI for individual users in Users, Profiles and Roles > Users > Login Details.

Branding and themes

Any current custom headers and themes will be replaced with IRIS Cascade standard branding when you transition to the new Cascade UI.

New branding and theme tools are available with our cloud hosting solution.
