Edit a policy document

You can change the current version of a policy document at any time, which is useful as your business or regulations change and you want to keep your internal content up to date. You can view previous versions but you can't edit them.

  1. Go to Practice compliance > Policies & procedures.
  2. Select Edit current version.
  3. If required, change the document Title and Policy type.
  4. Type or paste in any changes to the content.
  5. Use the formatting toolbar to apply styling to your content. You can apply character styles: bold, italic, and underline.
  6. If required, select Reset to default template to abandon your changes and view the default policy text provided by IRIS. You can amend this if you need to.
  7. If required, select Clear to clear the content box.
  8. When you're done, select Save. (Select Discard changes if you don't want to save.)
