Create a policy document

You can create a policy document from a predefined template, or start with a new, blank document. You can create as many policy documents as you need. 

Create a policy document from a template

  1. Go to Practice compliance > Policies & procedures.
  2. Select Create from template.
  3. Add your content to the predefined sections.
  4. Use the format toolbar to apply styling to your content You can apply character styles: bold, italic, and underline.
  5. When you're done, select Save. (Select Discard changes if you don't want to save.)

Create a blank policy document

  1. Go to Practice compliance > Policies & procedures.
  2. Select Create new.
  3. In the Title box, enter a name for the document.
  4. On the Policy type list, select the type of document you're creating (these are predefined).
  5. Type or paste in your content.
  6. Use the formatting toolbar to apply styling to your content. You can apply character styles:bold, italic, and underline.
  7. If required, select Reset to default template to abandon your changes and view the default policy text provided by IRIS. You can amend this if you need to.
  8. If required, select Clear to clear the content box.
  9. When you're done, select Save. (Select Discard changes if you don't want to save.)
