Mark clients as active, inactive or excluded from AML

By default, all clients are marked as Active. You can also mark them as follows:

Inactive - clients that you no longer deal with, but want to retain their data. This will exclude them from your client list, any dashboard widgets, and all notifications.

Excluded from AML - clients that you do not intend to carry out any AML activities for. This won't have any impact on the availability of AML functions - this simply marks the client as excluded.

  1. On the Client Dashboard, use the View: Active clients filter to display your active clients and locate the client or clients you need.
  2. Select the check box for the clients you want to mark.
  3. Select Actions, then either Mark client as inactive, Mark client as inactive, or Mark as Excluded from AML.

Change the client view

You can switch between viewing Active clients or Inactive clients using the View filter. Use the Excluded from AML checkbox to choose whether to view or hide clients excluded from AML as follows:

  • Active clients marked as excluded from AML - select the Active radio button and the Excluded from AML checkbox.

  • Active clients not marked as excluded from AML - select the Active radio button and clear the Excluded from AML checkbox.

  • Inactive clients marked as excluded from AML - select the Inactive radio button and the Excluded from AML checkbox.

    Inactive clients not marked as excluded from AML - select the Inactive radio button and clear the Excluded from AML checkbox.
