Exclude client from AML

You can create records for clients that you do not have a responsibility to conduct AML procedures for. This is useful for non-clients (former accountants, solicitors, a spouse etc.) where they have a client record in order to demonstrate a relationship, but your practice has no AML obligations to them.

Once a client is excluded from AML, they are not referenced in any Home page widgets.

Exclude a client from AML

  1. On the menu bar, select Clients.

  2. Select the check box for the client you want to exclude from AML.

  3. Select Actions then select Exclude client from AML.

The client is excluded and a confirmation message is displayed.

View clients that are excluded from AML

In Clients, you can filter the list to only view those excluded from AML.

  1. Select the view option then select Excluded from AML.

  2. Select Save. The client list is filtered to show only those clients who are excluded from AML obligations.

Include a previously excluded client in AML

All client records you create are automatically included in AML and you can exclude individual clients as you need to. Once excluded, you can include them again at any time.

  1. On the client list, select the view option then select Excluded from AML. All clients set to be excluded from AML are shown.

  2. Select the check box for the client you want to include in AML.

  3. Select Actions then select Include client in AML.

The client is included in AML and a confirmation message is displayed.
