Cashless Catering Overview
IRIS PlusPay works with all major MIS and Cashless Catering systems to allow a person to pay by credit or debit card, PayPal, or PayPoint.
Cashless catering is a prepay point of sale (POS) technology that allows transactions to be made without using cash at the time of purchase. It is used in canteens, particularly those in schools.
A person makes payments to top up a student's dinner money balance in IRIS ParentMail, which then links to update the balance for the student on the till.
To use Cashless Catering, you must have purchased the Payments package with from IRIS ParentMail. After the process has been arranged with the till provider, either the organisation or the till provider need to contact us for the integration.
