Activate or Deactivate Communications

When you are ready to start using IRIS ParentMail to send messages to persons, you need to activate communications. If you no longer want to send communications using a specific method, you can deactivate communications.

Registration messages, by default are sent by email. If you activate verification by text message, registration messages are sent by text message (if a mobile number has been provided for the user) therefore an IRIS ParentMail user can be registered without an email address (organisations that activate text message registration notice a higher registration percentage). Communications sent by Text cost 1 credit per user.
