NEW AI Writing Assistant - 2023

We've added the AI Writing Assistant that uses Chat GPT technology to help you create emails.

The AI Writing Assistant cannot access any of your organisational data in IRIS ParentMail or other software applications IRIS ParentMail is linked to, such as your Management Information System (MIS).

After generating the message with the AI Writing Assistant, you will be able to edit the message. Editing the message allows you to include any of the information you cannot enter in the AI Writing Assistant.

When you use the AI Writing Assistant for the first time, we'll record your agreement to the guidance that helps you keep your data safe when using the feature. Each staff member in your organisation who uses the AI Writing Assistant must agree to the guidance before they can continue.

What am I agreeing to?

Agreeing to use the AI Writing Assistant confirms you understand you must not enter any of the following types of information when entering the details of the message you'd like to create:

Personal or sensitive data	Any names of students, staff members, parents and carers, or any other associated person Dates of birth Addresses Contact information, such as telephone numbers, email addresses
