Update — IRIS Identity October 2022

We’re improving the security of IRIS ParentMail by introducing IRIS Identity — a solution that allows you to use the same account to log into all your IRIS Software Group products.

Your organisation will receive an email confirming the date all your staff members, parents, and carers will be upgraded to an IRIS Identity account.

The next time you log in after this date, you’ll be asked to create a new password to confirm set up of your IRIS Identity account. There are no other changes to your system as part of this upgrade, but if you have any issues when upgrading to an IRIS Identity account, log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required). If parents and carers have any issues upgrading their account, they must contact your organisation.

If your staff members, parents, and carers already use an IRIS Identity account to access other IRIS Software Group products, they can start using that account to log into IRIS ParentMail.

We recommend using the Account Security Upgrade template we’ve added in IRIS ParentMail, to send a form to your parents and carers to make them aware of the changes. The process of upgrading parent and carer accounts to IRIS Identity is the same as the one detailed above.

If you do not use Forms, download the Account Security Upgrade template. Copy the template information into a new email, then send it to all your parents and carers.
