Printing Documents

Contacts can request to receive paper copies of any communications sent out from IRIS ParentMail. Alternatively, paper copies can be created for users that have not registered for a IRIS ParentMail account and do not have the app, an email address, or mobile number.

When creating communications to contacts that require paper copies, you can find the generated documents in Documents to Print grouped by the communication type. To print out the paper copies, do the following:

  1. Select Documents to Print, then the required message type.

The number of documents to be printed are displayed adjacent to the menu label. This is the total number of separate communications, such as, email to year 7 contacts , email to staff, and so on, rather than the number of recipients waiting for paper copies.

Those communications that haven't been viewed or printed off are indicated with a blue dot.

  2. Select the message to print.
  3. Depending on the message type, select PDF or CSV.

PDF documents list the recipients needing paper copies then a separate page for each personalised communication.

Paper copies of reports are outputted as CSV documents.
