Set Up Parents' Evenings — Step 2 Back to Step 1

To identify the parents' evening and share additional information with invited parents and carers, enter the details of the event.

1. Enter a meaningful Evening Name.
2. Choose the type of evening being created: 
   • Include Form Tutors — Parents and carers can only book one appointment with one teacher

   • Include Subject Tutors — Parents and carers can book appointments with multiple teachers

     Primary schools setting up events where Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) appointments are available for all students must select both Include Form Tutors and Include Subject Tutors.

3. (Optional) Select the options available for parents and carers when booking appointments: 
   • Allow phone call requests — Parents and carers can request a call back from the teacher
   • Allow parent to leave notes on appointments — Parents and carers can enter notes for the teacher
4. Enter Information about where the evening is being held, such as start and end times or the types of appointments available.
5. Choose students to invite.
