When you first start using IRIS ParentMail we recommend you send information to a person responsible for a student about how you are going to be using the system and app.

When you are ready to go live with IRIS ParentMail, you need to send registration messages to any person that needs to use the system, (for example, parents and carers, a staff member, etc.) so they can register their IRIS ParentMail account. The message includes a registration link, which is sent by email or text message.

  • If a person only has an email address recorded in IRIS ParentMail, their registration message is sent by email.
  • If a person only has a mobile phone number recorded in IRIS ParentMail, their registration message is sent by text message.
  • If a person has both an email address and a mobile phone number, their registration message is sent by email and text message.
