Where have Guided Tours gone?

We've changed the software we use to provide our in-product, which means Guided Tours have changed.

From September 2022 you can no longer access in-product help using the Guided Tours, Help with or Read more buttons.

How to access in-product help

You must accept the Measurement cookie to access Owlbot, in-product help guides, and articles. For more information about accepting or rejecting cookies, go to How do I manage my cookie preferences for IRIS ParentMail.

All the Guided Tours are available from the applicable Help with section in Owlbot, labelled as (Guide). You can open guides from any page in IRIS ParentMail. For help using Owlbot, go to How to use Owlbot.

A Help button is also available on specific pages that displays information about where to find in-product guides and articles to help you complete tasks without leaving IRIS ParentMail.

How Guided Tours have changed

Guided Tours now display as a set of slides that provide all the steps you need to complete a task. The slides automatically change to display the next steps; you can also use the previous and next arrows to work through them.

If you prefer to work through the steps as you complete the task, you can open the article from Owlbot. If Owlbot is covering a part of the product you need to use, close Owlbot and scroll up or down the page. When you reopen Owlbot the article is displayed again.
