Set Up Integris MIS Link

The Integris MIS Link automatically transfers data from Integris into IRIS ParentMail.

Before you install the MIS Link, IRIS ParentMail need to check your data to prevent duplicate records being created. You must contact our Support Team about installing your link, log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required) or select Live Chat to contact the Technical Support Team.

When IRIS ParentMail confirm your data can be imported in IRIS ParentMail, the MIS Link can be set up.

  1. Login to Integris, then select Modules > System Management > RM Integris Datashare.
  2. Select the IRIS ParentMail icon.
  3. Select Grant Access.
  4. Accept the Terms and Conditions. A confirmation dialog is displayed confirming that the link is authenticated. The message warns of a 15 minute delay on going live however, you should allow a 24 hour wait.
  5. Once you have granted access, to activate your link to IRIS ParentMail log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required) or select Live Chat to contact the Technical Support Team.

    The MIS Link takes 24 hours to authenticate the connection.

  6. When the MIS Link has successfully connected, details of your MIS Link are displayed. On the MIS Link page, you can: 

    • Disable Link — to stop the overnight syncing.
    • Manual Sync — manually sync any new data in your MIS that needs updating on IRIS ParentMail before the next scheduled sync is due to run.
    • Import Pre-Admissions — manually import your pre-admissions students.
    • Change Provider — remove your current link and create a new one if you have changed MIS provider.

    If you ever need to withdraw access for any reason, repeat the steps in this guide but select Withdraw Access.

  1. Go to Imports > Imports to check on your recent imports. Integris link imports are listed to confirm this is now successfully set up.

    IRIS ParentMail produces a Rejected Records Report detailing all the data that could not be imported with the reasons why. For more information, go to Run Rejected Records Reports .
