Viewing Reported Absences

Reported student absences are displayed in Absences. The number of absences reported is displayed against the Absences menu item.

To view the absences, do the following:

  1. Select Absences from the menu.
  2. Select the absence you want to view from the list. Alternatively, enter the name of the student in Search.

    By default, absences are set to display the last seven days. To view previous absences, select a filter from the drop-down list.

All new absences are marked with a blue dot in the absence list. To clear the dot, do the following:

  1. Select the relevant absence.
  2. Select Mark as Processed to clear the absence notification.
  3. Select Yes to confirm to clearance.
  4. Select OK to return to the Absences page.
