Recommended User Setup for IRIS Invoice Matcher

There are various ways you can structure your IRIS Financials users. This topic outlines the recommended user setup for your establishment/organisation.

Identifying Different Types of User

It is recommended that you have two different types of user for IRIS Invoice Matcher:

  • Admin User - To manage and Administer the system. We recommend creating at least two admin users to cover absences.
  • Document Processor - To verify and process any invoices not automatically matched by the software. We recommend creating at least two document processor users per location to cover absences.

Applying the Correct User Settings

This section advises the recommended user settings per user type to be set in the user account.

User settings can only be applied to user accounts by an Admin user.

Admin User

In the user's account, on the Privileges tab, select the following options from the sections:

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Manage accounts
  • Manage suborganisations

USER MANAGEMENT

  • Manage user accounts
  • Manage user groups

DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT

  • Process documents
  • View documents

MASTER DATA

  • View supplier bank account numbers

Document Processor

In the user's account, on the Privileges tab, select the following options from the sections:

  • Access APPROVE
  • Access EXPLORE
  • Access MANAGE
  • Access RECEIVED
  • Access STORAGE - My documents
  • Access STORAGE
  • Access UPLOAD
  • Access VERIFY
  • Delete documents
  • Edit approval documents
