Manually Upload an Invoice

Click HERE: IRIS Financials Version 7 Users

This topic explains how to upload an invoice to IRIS Invoice Matcher. You need to do this if a supplier sends an invoice to an email address which is not associated with IRIS Invoice Matcher or if you are uploading an invoice you have received for a non-order invoice in PS Accounting/IRIS Financials.

You can only upload PDF, JPG/JPEG or BMP document types.

  1. Log in to IRIS Invoice Matcher using your credentials.
  2. The IRIS Invoice MatcherHome page is displayed. Select Upload from DOCUMENTS in the left-hand menu.
  3. Select the applicable location from the Buyer drop-down list. This needs to be the location or entity to which the invoice relates.
  4. Select the required option from the Document type drop-down list. You have two options: British purchase order invoices and British expense invoices.

British purchase order invoices - Invoices linked to purchase orders in IRIS Purchasing.
British expense invoices - Non-order invoices raised in PS Accounting.
  5. The Document separation drop-down informs IRIS Invoice Matcher whether the attachment you are uploading contains one or multiple invoices. Select one of the following options from the drop-down list:

One document per file - The file being uploaded contains a single invoice, even if it contains multiple pages.
Multiple documents per file - The file being uploaded contains multiple invoices.
  6. Next, to select the invoice files to be uploaded, click Select Files....
  7. The Open dialog is displayed. Find and select the invoice that you want to upload, then click Open.
  8. The file is displayed on the page, which means it is ready to upload. You can select multiple files on this page.
The maximum number of invoices you can upload at once is 100. If you attempt to upload more than 100, the following error message is displayed. You need to upload the files that have been added before you can upload the additional files that have not been uploaded.
  9. Click Upload to upload the invoice(s).

A message is displayed on the page to indicate the file(s) has successfully uploaded.
