Hiding Unwanted Nominals
It is good practice to hide nominals that you do not want to be used. This not only prevents access, but also shortens the list of nominals that can be selected. This is achieved by selecting a security role of NO_ACCESS.

Select Masters > Nominals from the menu bar to display the Nominals Maintenance dialog.

Select the required nominal then select the Security tab.

Select NO_ACCESS from the View, Modify, Post and Add Ledger drop-down lists then click the Apply button
By default, System Administrators (CUSTADMIN) can still see nominals with a NO_ACCESS setting.
