Changing Your Password

Users can change their password whenever required. However, if you forget password, your System Administrator will need to reset it for you. For more information, please see the Defining Complexity of a User's Password article.

You will need to change your password:

  1. the first time that you login.
  2. when your password has expired (your System Administrator sets the frequency with which passwords must be changed).
  3. when your password has been re-set by your System Administrator.

You can change your password whenever you want to, using the following method:

  1. Select PS Financials > Accounting from the Windows Start menu.

  2. Click the Change Password button.

  3. Enter your current password together with your new password in the applicable fields then click the Change button.

Password constraints are determined by your System Administrator. Make sure that you follow your establishment/organisation password rules when changing your password to avoid an error message being displayed.
