The following updates were made for IRIS Financial Planner during March 2023:

New Features

Integration with Every HR By IRIS

Synchronise staff member details and contract information from Every HR By IRIS with IRIS Financial Planner. Details cannot be synced from IRIS Financial Planner to Every HR By IRIS.

Before synchronising, fields in Every HR By IRIS must be mapped to the required fields in IRIS Financial Planner.

Quick Salary Calculator

During the recruitment process, use the Quick Salary Calculator to analyse the costs of staff members rather than creating a scenario.

Fixes and Updates

IRIS Financials Sync Tool

Updates to the IRIS Financials Sync Tool include:

• Imported months now include carry forward amounts and notes for budget monitoring

Report Generation

All reports, including large Multi-Academy Trust (MAT) reports, now generate and load faster.

Abbreviated School Names

MATs can now enter and choose to use an abbreviation of the school name. Go to Settings, select School Details, then Edit. For the required school, in Alias, enter the abbreviation.

To use to use abbreviations instead of school names, on the Admin Console, turn Alias on.

MAT Dashboard

Data is now displayed correctly for large MATs on the dashboard.

Student Fees

Student fees now rounded to two decimal places in the Student Contract, Edit page, and Student by Year report.

Staff Salary Statements

Staff salary details now rounded to two decimal places in Staff Salary Statements.
