IRIS Financial Planner Update — August 2023

The following updates were made for IRIS Financial Planner during August 2023:

New Features

Budget Forecast Return Report

To help Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) submit their Budget Forecast Return (BFR), an automated report has been added. The report uses defined budget scenarios to forecast the year-end projection and future year against the specified code structure.

To run the report, go to Reporting, then select the Budget Forecast Return Report.

Fixes and Updates

• NEW tag removed from the menu for Quick Salary Calculator
• BETA tag removed from the menu for Reforecasting
• Budget Monitor values with 8 or more digits now import correctly when using the IRIS Sync Tool
• When fixing a budget, to resolve performance issues, contract names are automatically adjusted to under 128 characters

Budget by School Report

• Now exports successfully to Microsoft Excel for large amounts of data
• Resolved issues with reporting codes sometimes generating differing subtotals for location and organisation reporting

Removed Features

• The PDF download option for the Staff by Year report has been removed
