Release Notes

New Features

  • Include role in MCR return

A new setting has been added to the Activity dialog to allow you to include the role in the MCR returns.

To include a role in the MCR return, go to Personnel > Definitions > Your Organisation > Activity, then select Include in MCR.

Fixes and Updates

  • Government Gateway import

The Government Gateway Transfer import was updating the leaver record rather than the active record where an employee has multiple records.

A fix has been added to ensure that the import is always applying to the most current record.

  • Unable to generate P60s from the portal

P60s can be successfully generated from the portal.

  • MCR Flood using the incorrect field for FTE

The MCR Flood process now uses of the FTE recorded on each employee role instead of the MDC Factor.

  • MCR Flood not processing overrides if no Role number specified

When entering an override to correct an error reported by the TPA, the role number is optional unless the employee has multiple roles. The MCR Flood now accounts for role number being empty.

  • Incorrect P60s displaying on the portal

P60s were being associated with employees incorrectly. Employees are now associated with the correct P60s when they are generated.

  • Unable to email P60s

    You can now email P60s.

  • Dynamics GP Financial Integration connectivity issues

Resolved connectivity issues with the Dynamics GP integration introduced in the March 2022 release.

  • FPS process crashing

A fix has been introduced to account for NI category changes so the process no longer crashes when it is processed.

Additional Notice

In the Spring Statement on 23rd March 2022, the UK government announced that from 6th July:-

  • The Primary Threshold for National Insurance will be aligned to the tax-free allowance from 6th July 2022 at £12,570.

  • Employment Allowance will increase to £5,000 for all eligible employers and charities from 6th April 2022. This is a potential annual NI discount of an extra £1,000 for those employers.

It is important that payments due to be made on 6th July 2022 or later use the correct thresholds.

A new Statutory Parameter import file will be issued shortly. It is vital that the new import file is imported to all payroll templates before processing and reporting these payments.
