This topic provides information about new features and fixes in this version of PS People.

Update Software

To install the updates:

  • If you are a PS Cloud customer, log a support ticket (a Service Cloud account is required) requesting the update. Our support team will contact your to arrange accessing your Cloud server and installing the updatesthis release will be made automatically by the PS Cloud team.
  • If you are an On-premise customer, you must download and install the updates.

New Features

2024 - 2025 Tax Year National Insurance Categories

The four new National Insurance (NI) categories covering Investment Zone Employer NICs Relief (ZENR) for the 2024-2025 tax year are now available.

Census Summary Report

The Summary Report for the census now includes qualifications.

School Workforce Census Validation Messages

School Workforce Census checks have been updated for academic year 2023/24 to include the following validation messages:

Validation code and message details Why the message displays
Error 4575Q — Staff member appears to be paid more than the maximum of the local government pay scale, please supply a reason in a return level note.

Displays for employees with active contracts and School Business Professional (SBP) as their post.

Fixes and Updates

  • Alternative Line Manager details can now be entered in the Employment History section on a HR Record
  • REL_BELIEF_ID CSV file column heading has been corrected to RELIGION_ID to resolve issues importing Religious Belief codes
  • Resolved issues when using Authorisation Centre for imports
  • Actual Salary now updates correctly when running the Apply Salary Values wizard
