Configuring Curriculum Manager

The Configuration tab is displayed first when you log in to the Curriculum Manager module.

To ensure that the module is configured correctly, follow the processes outlined below:

  1. Enable the module for use and turn on settings in the module.
  2. Migrate data into the module from the Teaching Manager module.
  3. Configure cycles to determine time periods for your curriculum to run.
  4. Set up programmes for your school. For example, 'Academic Programme' and 'Sports Programme'. If your school uses an enterprise edition if the Curriculum Manager module, you can have as many programmes as you need for your school. Only a single programme can be created in standard editions.
  5. Configure the entities to be used in each programme.
  6. Configure custom metadata fields for the module.
  7. Configure the terminology to be used for each programme.
  8. Once you have configured the above options, work your way through the rest of the options listed on the right in the Configuration tab:

Under Module Options, use the Module Component Harness and Module Install Options to check that the module is working or if it needs to be reinstalled. and use Module Data Processes to insert demo data in the module.
