Enter addresses

There are many different ways where you can enter, amend or remove an address.

  1. From Your recently viewed cases, select a client.

  2. Select the Client / case details tab.

  3. In the Contact information section, select Change address.

  4. The Change address window displays. All the addresses that have been entered for the client are displayed.

Clear address

Select Clear address to remove the currently selected address. The pop-up will close and the address will be set to None.

New address

  1. Select New address and complete the address fields.

  2. Enter a Postcode for the system to search for an address. Alternatively, manually enter the address details.

HMRC do not accept foreign postcodes as these may cause the tax return to fail HMRC validation checks. If the address contains a foreign Postcode / Zipcode etc., enter it into one of the other address lines. Then select Create.

Edit address

  1. To edit an address, select the pencil icon next to the address you want to edit.

When you edit an address, the change will affect every screen where you have selected this address for that client. Usually, when an address changes you should create a new address and link the relevant data to that address.
