Task status

There are nine different task statuses. Each status is there to help you to identify the progress of each of the tasks.

  • Overdue: This is now past the task's due date.

  • Ready: The task is available for you to action it, as it is now on or past the task's start date, but before its due date.

  • In progress: This status is found on the Electronic signing task. The task status will change to In progress when the signing request is sent and you are waiting for the client to sign.

  • Pending: It is before the task's start date.

  • Blocked: The task dependencies have not yet been fulfilled.

  • Uncompletable: The task is missing some information required to start.

  • Snoozing: This is assigned to the tasks for which you have selected the option to snooze.

  • Completed: All the requirements of the task have been completed.

  • Cancelled: You have selected to cancel the task

Task status and job status

The job status will be set based on the status of the next task coming up. For example; if you trigger a job and the next task for you to complete is Ready, the job will also show as Ready.

There are a couple of exceptions to this:

  • Overdue tasks: When any of the tasks within the job are assigned the Overdue status, you job will automatically take on that status and show as Overdue. This way Senta will alert you of any overdue tasks that urgently need your attention.

  • Snoozed tasks: If you set a task status to Snoozed within a job, the job will continue to show the Ready status.
